This media cabinet almost happened by accident.

The client was interested in dining room furniture but, whilst I was at his home on my initial visit, as an aside said, “I was hoping for a tv/hi-fi space over there, but those two pillars are in the way”.

I saw the pillars as an opportunity and designed a suspended dresser, with its tambour front, as a solution. Those pillars were my new best friends.
