In addition to having our benches in the extension of the museum, we were doubly pleased to be selected to design and make new benches for the Ashmolean’s refurbished Egyptian Galleries.

Here we incorporated the same convex sitting surfaces, with the curve mimicked on their undersides, which allows a sculptural simplicity, free from the normal encumbrance of a visually cluttered underframe.

They’re very comfortable.
