ABOUT
These gallery benches were commissioned for the contemporary art wing at the National Museum Cardiff.
They differ from those at the Ashmolean by having vertically laminated ends, as opposed to end-grain blocks. They are cleanly straight-sided, ensuring they are in keeping with the modernity of the collection that surrounds them.
The benches were made with and without variously positioned arms.
