Handcrafted Oak Key Cupboard – Wooden Key Cabinet
This oak key cupboard began life with a simple purpose – to solve the daily question of where the keys had gone. Designed and made in our Wiltshire workshop, it’s a modest idea elevated by the care, attention, and craftsmanship we bring to all our work. Some call it a key cupboard, others a wooden key cabinet; for us it’s a beautiful and dependable home for the things you can’t leave without.
Each of our oak key cabinets is individually made from sustainably sourced British timber and fitted with neat stainless steel hooks inside. Over the years, it has quietly become one of our most loved designs, a balanced blend of function, proportion, and warmth that feels just as at home in a hallway as it does in a kitchen or boot room. It’s the sort of everyday object that brings a small, satisfying pleasure every time you use it.

We work almost exclusively with locally sourced British timber, choosing methods that tread lightly on the environment. As a result, every oak key cupboard is made not only to last a lifetime but also to honour the landscape it comes from. As members of Woodland Heritage, we actively support the careful management and regeneration of British woodlands.
