There are many interesting quirks that have emerged as a consequence of designing and making furniture to withstand the shifting tastes and vagaries of time since 1975. One of them is enough years have passed for pieces to survive longer than their owners. For some this has been known to cause good-hearted debate amongst the descendants as to the furniture’s future residence; sometimes there are no descendants to leave it to. There are times when the owner downsizes.
