The convex curve of the seat is a shape we frequently use. The comfort of this curve seems counter-intuitive but it works beautifully. It has the added advantage of allowing the moisture to roll off when the seat is outside and saves sitting in a pool of water.
We also make the Wayfaring bench in a larger size.
The bench pictured is made of elm.
