The recesses house books, ornaments and any other bits & pieces for storage or display and taper in height the further up you go.
It’s a perennial favourite. The wood positively glows when the piece is illuminated with some creative flair.
The Whirly-Gig is made of oiled elm with a rippled ash interior.
